A very Peter Rabbit Easter

I base my Easter decorations on Peter Rabbit. From color palette to cuteness, Peter Rabbit provides the perfect backdrop to your Easter brunch. I'm super happy with the new additions to my collection this year and can't wait for all the garden parties we'll use them at for years to come.

Setting the table

I needed kid friendly, Melamine dishes. I considered these darling William Sonoma Peter Rabbit dishes, but I think a theme plays best when it’s subtle so I didn’t want to go too heavy into literal Peter Rabbit dinnerware. I landed on these blue Mixed Pattern Dinner Plates from Threshold designed with Studio McGee.

Sticking with the “don’t let my toddler break it” theme, I paired the plates with these Acrylic Tumblers in blue.

For my first hint of “literal Peter Rabbit,” I added Meri Meri Peter Rabbit Napkins.

For the little kids

At the little kids table I had specialty tumblers and a book (photos are linked) at each table setting.

I still have these super cute pastel eggs from Target that I bought a few years ago - you could probably find similar ones at a Dollar Tree.

The find I am most excited to add to my holiday box this year are these little wooden Peter Rabbit lawn posts from Terrain. I got them on sale, they are regularly $32. They are little directional signs you can put in your lawn as part of your Easter Egg hunt. I will confess, what really influenced me was seeing a TikTok of Prince Henry and Meghan Markle using them for their egg hunt. I ran straight to Google to find them for myself.

While I was at Terrain, I added these Outdoor Citronella Torches to keep the bugs away. Our garden is in full bloom, and while I love that the bees love it - the bees are not invited to brunch. These torches will hopefully keep them away until after all the eggs are found.

I love being able to make a memorable childhood for my kids. These additions to our Easter decorations are perfect for the toddler size garden brunch we will be hosting. I hope this sparks some inspiration for you and yours!

With love,
